We are delighted to confirm details of the 2021 YCA Autumn Meeting where we hope you will join us and enjoy a day of entertainment. The event is to be held at the Riley Smith Hall in Tadcaster on Thursday 21 October from 10am til 3.30pm and includes welcome hot drink, Bad Apple Theatre Group performance of 'Tales from the Great Wood', followed by a cold buffet luncheon provided by the venue, and then a wonderful talk from ex Bluebell Dancer Rowena Harker Leder in the afternoon.
The cost is £25 per person which includes morning and afternoon hot drink and cold buffet lunch. We are limiting the number of tickets to 150 so they are strictly first come first served. You will also have a chance to peruse our usual stalls and take part in a 'new items only' Bring and Buy Stall as well as our raffle and have an update on YCA activity from our Chair, Anita Taylor.
Points to note: car parking is within the town of Tadcaster, between York and Leeds, where it is free to park. The nearest car park is a 150 metre walk from the front door of the venue, the second recommended car park is less than a 10 minute walk through the town. There are only very limited disabled parking spaces at the venue itself so these must be booked with central office in advance. It is possible to drop off/pick up outside the venue. The venue has steps at the front entry but a ramp can be available directly into the hall.
The venue itself can seat up to 200 in the round table layout we have chosen but we are limiting this to 150. All covid guidelines will be followed by the venue and performers but you should satisfy yourself before booking that you are happy to sit on round tables of 10 in a venue which does not enforce the wearing of facemasks.
Booking forms have been issued to Branch Secretaries. We hope we can look forward to welcoming you.
